Westwood Highlands
Westwood Highlands is one of the country’s oldest planned communities. Originally planned as a park, the neighborhood has maintained this original intention as an outdoor oasis thanks to the help of the Westwood Highlands Associations. Regulations on construction and landscaping here are strict, so the land and homes here are beautiful and well-manicured. 
 
Located just south of Sherwood Forest, this is a quiet, hilly neighborhood that is perfect for families. The Mount Davidson Stairway Walk is found here and allows visitors to check out the lush foliage and spectacular views of the West Portal. While there aren’t any major commercial centers here, visitors can check out nearby Ocean Avenue or the many shops and restaurants found in the West Portal. Westwood Highlands is an inviting community that is welcoming to new residents.
