Sherwood Forest is a small, relaxed neighborhood found on the slope of Mount Davidson. Only about 200 homes are found here, and the community is made up of only two to three streets each direction. It is home to one of San Francisco’s smallest and highest residential streets – Robinhood Drive – and it is also the only street to both start and stop in Sherwood Forest. 
 
Of the homes found in Sherwood Forest, most are ranch style, but colonial houses and manors are also available. Globe street lights illuminate the area at night, giving the community a mid-century feel, and most homes boast beautiful views of the Mount Davidson Cross. While there are few amenities available in Sherwood Forest, residents can venture out of the idyllic community to shop at the businesses on West Portal Avenue or Ocean Avenue. Sherwood Forest is a coveted community, so you’ll want to act fast to buy a property in this picturesque neighborhood.
