Located between Ingleside Terrace and the Stonestown neighborhoods, Lakeside is a narrow community located in southern San Francisco. Lakeside is known for its detached, picturesque homes with white picket fences. It is one of the first neighborhoods in the city to place its utilities underground in order to hide unsightly wires and poles. This leads to an aesthetically pleasing, modest neighborhood that attracts a variety of residents.Should you choose to relocate to Lakeside, you’ll have plenty of amenities, restaurants, and shops available. The neighborhood is found between the Stonestown Galleria shopping center and San Francisco State University. The stretch of businesses located along 19th Avenue is one of the most popular areas in the neighborhood with numerous dining opportunities. Lakeside is a conveniently located community that often flies under the radar, providing a peaceful living environment.
