Every Sunday from 2 to 4 in the afternoon, you can peruse popular brands like Urban Outfitters and dance your way from open-air store to store. Food and a variety of vendors are also available. It is highly recommended that you bring a blanket and folding chair to lounge and take in the beats.
Live on the Avenue in San Anselmo
The San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that the San Anselmo Live on the Avenue will be back this summer 2022! Operating from June through October, this series showcases dining, dancing, live music, and fun through the heart of the town.
Every Friday and Saturday from 6 to 8:30 in the evening, you can enjoy concerts at Creek Park and the Town Hall Plaza. Saturday boasts outdoor movie nights in Creek Park from June until September. Don’t forget something comfortable to sit on—and let Live on the Avenue provide the rest!
Concerts on the Plaza in Mill Valley
Nestled in Mill Valley you will find the Depot Plaza, where yearly concerts are held to entertain the masses. Local and new favorites rock out in a variety of musical genres—something for everyone. Wear comfortable shoes as you’ll be in for a long night of dancing!
Beginning in June, the Comedy on the Plaza is also offered to bring in the laughs and create lasting memories with your favorite people. Don’t forget a chair or blanket. If you aren’t interested in having a picnic, don’t worry—there are many restaurants and local shops to satisfy your food cravings!
Marin County Fair 2022
Ah, the nostalgia of attending a fair as a child. What’s better is attending as an adult! The outdoor-only event features a theme of So Happy Together!—perfect after 2 long years of COVID and restrictions. The 2022 county fair is sure to bring the thrills and excitement as it offers fireworks, music, carnival rides, food and drinks from around the world, and incredible exhibits to feast your eyes on.
Operating from June 30th through July 4th only, be sure to stop in to enjoy the Global Marketplace, and performers such as jugglers entertain you throughout the day and into the evening. Be sure to wear walking shoes as the fun will keep you moving!
Mountain Play
Since 1913, the great outdoor theater, Mountain Play, has immersed the community in a whole new world. Jump in and enjoy the tradition of watching an outdoor performance with skilled actors that will have you feeling the feels.
The stone-step amphitheater is gently snuggled into the mountains in redwood-surroundedMount Tamalpais State Park. This summer, Hello Dolly! is being featured. The story offers high-energy performances, romance, laughter, and drama. This one has entertained its audiences for years and years—and is sure to continue for generations to come.
